China Unicom Guangdong Branch, as the provincial branch of China Unicom, holds the largest revenue scale, most strategic position, and most dynamic innovation among all its provincial subsidiaries. The company's Internet-driven transformation is in full swing, with applications in big data, IoT, mobile Internet, AI, and cloud computing thriving across its operational ecosystem.
China Unicom Guangdong Branch has been building its value-added service cloud computing platform since 2010, with five phases completed to date. The first phase (2010) adopted IBM's Blue Cloud solution, while subsequent phases implemented our WinCloud solution. Through these developments, the platform's resource pool has continuously expanded, supporting an increasing number of business systems. The current infrastructure hosts nearly 2,000 virtual machines, serving over 300 enterprises.
Through the WinCloud cloud management platform, unified operation and maintenance (O&M) management is implemented for resources at the Industrial Park Computing Center and Science City Computing Center. The platform provides an administrator portal and a self-service portal, as well as functionalities for business management, resource management, and automated management.
