Located in Chengcheng and Heyang counties of Shaanxi Province within the eastern part of the Weibei Coalfield, Chenghe Mining Bureau is a state-owned large-scale coal enterprise under the administration of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. Established in February 1970 and formally founded in 1974, the bureau was originally subordinate to the Ministry of Coal Industry before being transferred to Shaanxi Province in August 1998. Currently, the bureau oversees 16 secondary units and operates five active mines, with two additional large modern mines—each with an annual capacity of 3 million tons—under construction.

Chenghe Mining Bureau has made significant achievements in its IT infrastructure development. However, with business expansion, the data center construction and management still face numerous difficulties and challenges.
