For instance, for a VM with 16GB of memory and shared storage, migrating over a 100Mbps network (assuming no storage path switching), the minimum migration time is calculated as:=16*1024/(100/8)=1310.72s

To view the latest states of platform components (physical hosts, virtual machines, storage pools, etc.), administrators must manually trigger the real-time data collection function.

1. Virtual machine templates created with older versions of WinServer and deployed on newer WinServer versions may exhibit instability in functionalities such as IP configuration, power operations (startup/shutdown), and network adapter behaviors. 2. WinServer Tools do not support systems with Linux kernel versions lower than 6.0;


3. When installing WinServer Tools on Windows systems, ensure the installation is performed with administrator privileges;

Avoid concurrent operations on objects involved in ongoing tasks.


Failure Recovery: If tasks enter an error state due to improper operations, manual cleanup of error logs at the WinServer backend is required, which may risk data loss. For unresponsive tasks, restart WinCenter only when no other tasks are active.


Restart Procedures:Full VM Restart: Reboot the entire WinCenter virtual machine;

Service-Level Restart: Restart only WinCenter-related services.


If the hyper-converged appliance has limited performance capacity, avoid parallel execution of multiple tasks to prevent system overload.


13、【Product Usage】- Why can't multiple WinCenter instances be used simultaneously to manage a hyper-converged cluster?
Answer:

WinCenter supports multi-user collaboration, but do not use multiple WinCenter instances simultaneously for management operations. Concurrent usage of multiple management platforms would lead to system information inconsistency, resulting in system instability.
